It's painful to lineup a shot and do no damage. Those really are felt since most are a no damage event; always for Talon except Fusion Cannon and Terran torpedos (range 2+) and phasers range 3. If RNG can't be improved then consider deviating from core game rules and giving a half damage hit to Talon in particular for a 1 roll. See round 2 impulse B/C of Table 435223500.
