The Steam App of Terraforming Mars lets you (well, if you use some kind of backdoor) replay the exact same seed (= deck order) of previous games in a hot seat mode (so you can play both sides). This greatly improves analysis.
I think the BGA implementation would benefit greatly from a replay-variant where you can just select a game-id of a previous game and then replay the game solo (so you play all players), maybe even starting from a specific turn. -
