I am wondering which ruleset is being used to have determined that KK+ top and wheel middle gives the same result as just KK or just the wheel.
2) I also cannot find support for 8 points for a middle wheel. My understanding of the rules is that a middle wheel is 4 points plus fantasy land (And when in FL, is just 4 points). 8 points is not balanced, and it's too east to just play for a wheel every hand and get 8 points and fantasyland with minimal foul risk. The purpose of fantasyland requirements is risk versus reward. Trying to make AA or KK top carries foul risk, hence the reward. Trying to make a wheel middle carries far less risk, hence the usual 4 points plus fantasy land. Less risk means less reward.

Also, Progressive Lowball awards 1 more Fantasyland card for making both KK+ and wheel.
I strongly believe that a wheel should be worth 4, not 8, but you did provide 2 good sources, which I appreciate. I'll see what I can find by searching; I assume I would need at least 2 good sources saying a wheel middle is worth 4, and as you said, some consensus from the players.
I'll write a forum post in the OFCP forum and see what the other players think.

This makes zero sense, but it's the internet consensus. It's 4 points on PlayPineapple, which I think is the most popular OFCP app, but that seems to be the exception.
If the consensus changes for some reason (e.g. an 'official' organization with considerable authority appears and establishes '4 points for wheel' rule as their standard), please post a new report and I'll consider it.
