I believe that being targeted for ELO is not a good reason, you should be targeted for having lots of money or for playing shady and people are afraid you are lying too much. It's a bluffing game and it should be played like that instead of watching people's ELO.

История отчёта
I do agree that using ELO to make decisions in Coup goes against the spirit of the game, so hiding ELO within the game is a minor deterrent meant to discourage players from doing this. But, the entire game of Coup is arbitrary anyway! There's no "right" or "wrong" way to play this game. If someone really wants to target the player with the highest ELO, I can't stop them -- nor should I. Maybe I decide to always target the orange player just because I dislike that color. That's not "wrong", nor is it something I can or should stop.
