When I play at the turn-based table, I want the ability to make my decision already during the opponent's turns, so they do not need wait for my move later.

If others use the same option, that would be a terrific save of play time.
It can be applicable for real-time games as well but the time-saving will be up-to a few minutes, not days.

Developing this idea further: the pre-action can be also a raise, not only fold. For example, I got a strong hand on flop and I am going to go "all in" or make a significant raise to force "all in" for others. I can make this decision in advance and perform a bet disregard of others' moves, and of course the bet (or fold) will be revealed later during my turn.
