move 99-100-101- I canceled the move because did not know how to get out of the situation.

although I go back again to the same site, on a later turn, after having used my assistant.

"You may refresh" means that the player may ignore the idol effect: the implementation does not offer this possibility.

But also cannot pass on refreshing an assistant

Ended up having to go to a different location

Same Problem, exactly as described. I got kicked out of game and lost reputation as a consequence, is it possible to get my 10% back, would be much appreciated ^^

Same problem as before. Tried refreshing and using multiple devices but no way to move forward without refreshing an assistant, and I can't.

Yes, I couldn't use the assistant because it required a coin I didn't have. So it wasn't exhausted and the game wouldn't let me move on without "refreshing it"

It happened in my game to. Ramachaku could not discover site because he couldn't use his assistant. Please fix! :) Thank you

Same problem.. I discovered a site but I don't want to refresh an assistant... interface says "You MAY refresh an assistant", but there's no option to skip!

Can't believe this is still a bug in 2023 having been reported 2 years ago.

Yup, also had my game demolished because of this. It seems like an easy bug to fix, I do not understand why it is still there. For the record, I had the assistant that gives you a discount of 1/2 when buying something, which I could not do. Therefore, I was blocked from discovering that space

I want to visit a new site,using my aeroplane.I clicked on the site,but it had a bonus of refreshing an assistant.My only assistant was the one that allows you to buy items at a discount as a slow action.I couldn't afford any of the items even with the discount.I hadn't used the assistant and couldn't use it/him.The interface won't give me the option of ignoring the bonus,so I am stuck unable to proceed.

It says:

I'm on Mozilla Firefox.

F5 did not solve the problem, I cannot do anything, no assistant to refresh and the site's Guardian has not been revealed, it's waiting on me to refresh an assistant. It says I "may refresh an assistant" but there's no option to skip if I don't want to or in this case incapable of doing. We may have to cancel the game at this point as this seems to be an unresolved issue. I'm running Firefox 119.0.1.

It won't let me skip refreshing the assistant and so I'd either have to pass or do something that wouldn't make sense gamewise

I had exactly the same situation as described, with the same assistant when I didn't have a coin. I was trying to explore a new site on the top row and couldn't progress since the game was forcing me to refresh an assistant when that wasn't possible. I ended up changing to a much less strong move, likely costing me the game. Very frustrating.

Needed to discover a new site. Site bonus was 'refresh an assistant'.My only assistant was the one that gives you a discount on buying as a slow-action.I couldn't afford to risk taking that action,as by my next turn the site would have been discovered by someone else. That was the only site I had the resources to discover.When I went to the site,the interface instructed me to refresh an assistant,and didn't give me the option of passing.I did try clicking on the assistant,and attempting to buy something using the discount,but the interface wouldn't allow me to proceed as it's a slow-action.
I need to discover the new site,as I need the idol to proceed on the snake temple.

I eventualy did an undo,and used an item card to visit a different site.
