I have raised boardgamearena.com/bug?id=52289 (which you may wish to visit and vote for) but I'm going to close this one because I can't take action on it.
It turns out that Realtime games have an overall limit of 4 hours, whatever the players' clocks are set to. You may wish to use a slow "Turn Based" configuration instead - which can still be played in real time - but are known to support game durations of many weeks.
