The time limit is not respected in the game as the interface wont let you kick people out of the game for being late. As long as they move one meeple in the 20 second time, you are not able to kick them out. Which results in players getting up to two minutes extra over time to play their moves.
It can be really annoying and there is really no point for having a time limit on the game.
