Tiles display incorrectly, and are not the ones selected once put down. It makes it incredibly difficult to play when you don’t know how the grid is developing - a lot of my moves are essentially blind.
This is recurring across all of the tables of Carcassonne I have played over the last week. I’ve logged out of the site, I’ve cleared my cache. Nothing helps.• Какой браузер вы используете?

Tile graphic are not aligned correctly on the tile. It is hard to tell what parts line up correctly with the other tiles.

Same thing is happening in my game, boardgamearena.com/table?table=366486177 . If I replay the moves from before the mis-displayed tiles, it usually displays it correctly for that turn. However, when I return for my next move, the tile is incorrectly displayed again, in the same way it was incorrectly displayed before.
I've uploaded an image, as requested. The incorrect tiles are highlighted in red.

I am having the same issue in Carcassone. Random tiles are displaying as different tiles after they are placed. I am using Safari on iOS.

The tiles are mashed together and I can’t really tell what’s what. It will tell me where the tile will fit, but I can’t tell what it is fitting next to.

I’m playing with the princess & the dragon expansion and it didn’t happen straight away, but part way through.

Same issue on iPad and iPhone (iPad 16.4.1). Tiles are mangled and don't display correctly making it nearly impossible to play. On PC (Windows 10 Firefox 112.0.1) I don't see this issue.

Was playing three game all three game were mixed up tiles. It has several tiles from different expansion packs. But the people I was playing they didn’t have the problem. So I quit the games and started three new ones. Was docked for doing so. But now have started three new ones yesterday. This morning happened again.

it looks like there are pieces from other expansions, over laid. and some are the resource expansion. the pieces also are split down the middle it makes the game unplayable

Carcassonne tiles seems to be mixed up with the expansion pack.
*I have this on ALL games (both games that where already playing and new games)
* and both on iPhone and Macbook.
*On iPhone (IOS) both with Safari Browser AND Chrome Browser, so i cant play on my mobile
* On Mac OS I have the same issue with Safari, only Chrome works

Just updated Mac OS to 13.3.1 (22E261) and suddenly the tiles not displaying correctly - several misaligned. Has happened on my iPhone and iPad in the last week, and now IMac. Game 96% completed, so playing blind not too bad for this game, but will not be able to play any further games of Carcassonne until issue solved, as it makes it impossible to see the state of game board. Opponent not experiencing any problems, but he has Android/PC.

Also on IOS 16.4 1(a) using Safari. Refresh does not work. Issue does not exist on Firefox on PC.

Confirmed, table 373594023. Tiles are mangled identically using Safari on Mac and iPhone. Using Firefox, tiles display normally.
Refreshing, playing tiles, etc. do not resolve issue, even temporarily.

It has happened in all my Carcassonne games since I got a new iPad.
Have deleted and restarted, but does not fix the issue.
Deleted from both iPads and uploaded only on new iPad, but problem still exists.

My issue is the tiles pixelate. I have found this happens in Settlers of Catan as well for the resources.
I use a Windows 10 ThinkPad laptop and am using Microsoft Edge Version 118.0.2088.76 (Official build) (64-bit)
The issue happens when I Zoom In / Zoom Out of the game.

from game 452440583, we had a similar problem with Carcassone, the original edition as seen here. i.imgur.com/1q8eLj7.jpg. This only applied to one player. The rest of us had the correct display which is why I was able to place the piece beside the monastery since on the actual layout, my piece was played beside a vertical road and the monastery piece was up one space.

I could see the tile i was about to place, but once they went on the board they look pixelated. if i zoomed in and out of the board a few tiles here and there would show up but mostly all pixelated. i kept playing the round so i wouldn't get marked off for leaving the game. i did take a screenshot of an example of when i could see a few tiles but not many.

This has also been happening to be for the last couple of days. I play on my Android phone (Android 14 running on a Pixel 7 phone). Happened last time in table #559281829. Reloading the screen made the current state of the table appear correctly, but any new move would appear incorrectly, so I'd need to constantly reload the table.
Also, navigating the screen has been really hard - it would reset to the middle of the screen whenever I tried zooming in, what is crucial when playing on a phone.
Please fix this as it makes the game all but unplayable :/

For the last week or two, opponents' tiles do not show in the correct spot when placed. I need to keep refreshing the game to see where tiles are accruately located.

Would add that although the main problem is my opponents' tiles showing up in the wrong places, there is also a new jerkiness to the animation when my own meeples are placed.
The opponent's tile displays in the wrong place, but its true position can be deducted because that is still used to determine the highlighted legal placement options for my next tile.
Opponent meeples are shown placed correctly on the fake displayed tile, not hovering where the tile should be.

I've played now at #561244788 :
- I've started by smartphone (my preferred) and I've encountered the problem ("Tiles display incorrectly, and are not the ones selected once put down") - it occurred many times in the last weeks
- then I've switched on laptop and the game was played regularly
So I think the problem is only when you play with smartphone (I've tried with different smartphone models - motorola and xiaomi - and the problem is always the same)

Fixed for me now, after happening consistently for 6 days. I believe now it was a BGA bug and not a Carcasonne bug, as Can't Stop had display issues for me as well (none of the pips lining up properly on the dice) and a few bug reports from other games sounded similar .

As above, once the tiles moved to the table they were only visible as a mix of coloured pixels. I refreshed the page multiple times and it eventually fixed, but I'd been playing blind before that. This has happened two out of my three games since I joined as a premier player.

F5 did not solve the problem. In the end switching the tile set to the first edition tiles worked for me, but I wasn't able to properly play the game
